Over the weekend, the Cameroon Bar Association held a workshop on capacity building; strategies for the development of a law firm. The workshop was aimed at providing Lawyers of the Cameroon Bar resident within the Northwest Region with the capacity to create, operate and manage law firms. This workshop comes just in time where the world has grown towards specialization and digitalisation, wherein new actors and gadgets are being introduced into legal practice.
Amongst the speakers at the workshop was the senior Partner of Dignity Law Chambers Barrister Mokom Njie Jude, who presented a paper on “law office Management”. In this paper the topics of interest where;Law Office/Client Management, Networking And Figuring Out New Opportunities/Exposure , Change Of Strategy- ADR As Oppose To Litigation and Specialization.
